SWOT

Strength
(Every individual has their own strength,and it depends on them on how to use it wisely)
• I can really focus on my studies on any period of time.
• I am able to manage my time quite precise and excellent in following my timetable.
• I am a very diciplined person and I will do my very best to be strict and puntual in doing something.
• I am a visual learner, that makes me an excellent learner in visual and I am able to learn through diagrams, highlighted notes, flashcards notes and mind map notes.
Weakness
(Every person has their own weakness to bring them down. A fool would let others to use his weakness to beat him, but a wise man would use his weakness as his greatest weapon)
•  I sometimes will procrastinate if I feel like theres something more interesting than studying. For example, playing games.
• I find it hard to switch off my cellular data which is my internet access to my phone. This will definitely cause me a lots of distraction.
• Although I am excellent in studying visually, most of the time I will encounter one big problem. Sometimes I find it hard to understand some topics that I studied.
• Kineastics study style has never been nice to me. That is why I am a terrible learner when it comes to mathematics.
Opportunities
(Where there is will, there is a way. Opportunities are everywhere, it is you who need to grab it)
• I have every devices that I need to enhance my knowledge. For example, I have my phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as my personal source of finding information and knowledge.
• I have great classmates whom excellent in their studies and I am able to ask for their help if I do not know anything that I learn. For example, I always ask my friend, Mak Hou for help I do not understand or a specific topic. He will kindly help me and guide throughout the teaching process.
• I have enough exercise books with a lots of refenrence in my place. I am able to find a lots of informations and learn new things. For wxample, if I wanted to understamd better for my Chemistry subject rather than depending on lecturer's notes, I can revise my Study Guide Book for Chemistry to improve my understanding in chemistry.
• I am lucky to have excellent lecturers in their own field teaching in my class. I feel more motivated everytime they teach and give advices. I will always ask them about the topics which I do not understand well to boost my knowledge.
Threats
(Obstacles will block your pathway preventing you from getting to your goal. Somehow, its either you start hammering the obstacles, push it away or perhaps, just leave it. The choice is yours to make.)
• Sometimes, I am afraid of getting sick and weak. Getting sick will prevent you from studying well and fully focus on your study because sick makes you weak. When you are weak, you will have no energy to do something effectively.
• My phone and laptop is my threat. Both devices have a very strong influences on preventing me from studying. I will sometimes stuck on my phone or laptop for a long period of time.
• Noisy housemates are another threat of mine. Somehow, some of these college housemates will never learn to respect other people's request or privacy. Their noices at night will distueb me from studying effectively and sometimes I cannot even study at all.

REFLECTION

Reflection: Ways to overcome my changllenges in life.
A. VAK TEST:
1.Mind mapping.
I will concise and simplify every lectures and make them into mind-mapping notes. Mind mapping notes will make reading easier and is comprehensive enough compared to full words readings.






2.IT Images:
Pictures and images are attractive and this will stimulate our brain to read it as this will not be bored for reading. Pictures will last longer in our memories compared to fact and figures.




3. Highlighter:
Highlight only the main key notes as this will make the reading scope smaller and our attention will be converged into a particular topic. This will not make our reading scope diverted easily.




B.Personality Test(Introvert)

4. Be extrovert:

I will join more club activities and hang around with my friends to widen my social circle. Besides, i will not feel shy to ask more questions and not isolated from my friends. Lastly, i will always stay optimistic in confronting odds in life!

So that when i interact and communicate i will end my conversation with friends in win-win situation. When my friends enjoy talking to me this will foster a better relationship in my circle thus make me more confident in making new friends.

The teaching and learning approach at Taylor’s College is focused on developing the Taylor’s 
Graduate Capabilities (TGC) in its students; capabilities that encompass the knowledge, cognitive 
capabilities and soft skills of our graduates. The TGC gives students the edge to start and stay 
ahead. The TGC ensure that Taylor’s graduates are capable in the following areas:

A unique feature is the Graduate Capabilities Portfolio, which maps a student’s personal development during the course of study and ensures that the individual is industry-ready upon graduation. Personal development is woven into the curriculum through teaching methods and assessment. All students are required to keep a journal throughout the programme to record their personal and academic experiences, as well as a portfolio that showcases their quality of work and progress. 
The Portfolio is a device to map a student’s personal development of Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities during his or her course of study. All students will be expected to keep a Journal as a private record of their experiences, both personal and academic. 
 All students are advised to retain the following: 
  • All studio and class work (current/previous session) 
  • Academic transcripts 
  • Journal (extracts as appropriate) 
  • Calendar 
  • Specific ‘Reflections’ exercises 
  • Peer assessment/feedback sheets (associated with calendar)

SPECIFIC:

My first mission in the world is to excel my Cambridge Advanced- Level studies , pursue my studies in medical pathway under financial support of JPA scholarship. My dream is to enter into University Of London to further my studies there.


                                                               MEASURABLE:

 I will assure that I grab all the        opportunities that come to me. I will always be consistent in my studies and attend all the education fair that has my choice of university. It may seem difficult to achieve my goal but my confidence is strong enough  to break through all the odds.


ATTAINABLE: 

I will always keep my spirit in motivated specially in studies and will not discouraged by any obstacles. Curiosity will enhance my acquisition for knowledge all the time. Good time allocation and management will always keep my studies in pace with lecturers. Good role model of achievers will be my source of inspiration.


RELEVANT: 

I will clear all my doubts in achieving my dreams. I will counsel any of my experience friends to inquire any information regarding my goals. Lecturers and library  will always be my first source of reference.

I will always abide by my timetable for studies so that there will not be any procrastination that happen and disrupt my daily routine.
